Without further comment. I'll just credit draftsharks.com, which I discovered today.
Chiefs LT Damion McIntosh had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Thursday. They keep saying 3-4 weeks but that just seems crazy. McIntosh could possibly be out for months, and even if he comes back in September how effective will he be? He's been replaced in the starting lineup by Will Svitek, a former NFL Europe star who has potential but is definitely unproven in this league. And Larry Johnson is still not in camp. Between McIntosh's injury, the QB flip-flopping on Brodie Croyle & Damon Huard, and rookie WR (and deluxe run-blocker) Dwayne Bowe losing half of camp in his own contract battle, we've got to trim Larry Johnson's astronomical projections back. He's not a top-3 fantasy pick anymore.

The Exception Proves the Rule
For once, I have to disagree. Last year a number of pundits told us that LJ couldn't replicate that awesome run at the end of 2005 for much the same reasons: Rolf's retirement, record workload, etc. Then, when Green went down, there were panicked GMs trying to unload #27, afraid that an unproven QB would draw 8 in the box. At some point, it will dawn on these unbelievers that grand-mama could get 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns running behind the AARP All-Stars.
If LJ falls to me at the end of the first round, I'm snarfing him up and yelling "championship!"
