Good News For Marion Barbarian

Felix Jones is being asked to compete for punt/kickoff return duty. If that's not a clear sign he's nothing more than a spot-duty back, I don't know what is. Marion Barber remains a viable fantasy running back. He gained 975 on the ground, 282 receiving and 12 total TDs while Julius Jones vultured almost 800 all-purpose yards.

Barber carried the ball 204 times to J.Jones' 164 - only about 3 more times per game, making for a pretty even run split. I believe Felix Jones will not have a problem staying on an NFL roster, perhaps as the lead rusher for a team. However, contrary to an earlier post, this news makes me believe that Barber will continue to get more carries than the rookie.

The Mustard: I suspect Barber will get 250 or more rushing attempts this year, good for about 1100 yards rushing, another 200 or so receiving (F. Jones may get some third down work) and about 12-14 TDs.
